Chasing the Dream

I continue to pursue this dream of creating comics and art around characters of both my own imagination and of other franchises. The X-Men, Spider-Man, and TMNT franchises are my favorites among these. As I pursue this, I also keep my eyes and ears open to opportunities that may come down the line, including Sketch Cards, which have become a large portion of being able to keep me paid while I keep up the Sketch Covers and other art. The reason I'm mentioning this is that we do need funds to be able to pursue larger goals, and I want to make sure you all know that it's good to take any jobs (that you are comfortable doing) and to make sure you actually get paid from them. Rarely, if ever, has the promise of promotion been enough of a payoff to go anywhere. Usually this just means people are getting free stuff and your time is valuable. Don't discredit that. Get paid, be good to each other, and keep creating.
